The Women’s Auxiliary Presidents’ Luncheon is an annual celebration to honor this group of past leaders for their dedication, as well as recognizing incoming presidents.
Family Night at Six Flags Over Texas
April 5, 2024
Family Night at Six Flags, hosted by the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center Dallas, raises funds to support critical hospital programs and lifesaving equipment. Last year, more than $530,000 was raised to help fund programs that improve the patient experience, including art therapy, Child Life programs and clinical research. For more than 50 years, this beloved family night has had a significant impact on our community.
Legacy of Love

Legacy of Love is an annual fundraiser hosted by the Women's Auxiliary to Children's Medical Center Plano. For the last 13 years, the Women's Auxiliary has hosted various fundraising events under the Legacy of Love event title. All funds benefited the Women's Auxiliary to Children's Medical Center Plano, which has raised more than $2 million for Children's Medical Center Plano over the last 15 years. Attendees enjoyed lunch and conversation, featuring guest speaker Joan Lunden, as well as special highlights and inspirational stories about our Children’s Health patients.
Cape Day

Cape Day, presented by Bank of Texas, is an opportunity to honor our patient superheroes at Children’s Health who fight courageously every day. On this day, patients, team members and community advocates gather at Children's Health to celebrate our superhero patients. Every patient at Children's Health receives a cape as a signal of their strength and superpowers fighting illness and injury.
North Texas Giving Day

North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event hosted by Communities Foundation of Texas. Since its inception in 2009, North Texas Giving Day has transformed from an idea to help local people give wisely to a movement that has ignited a broad culture of community-wide giving. In 2024, more than $600,000 was raised to support the greatest needs of Children’s Health.
Hispanic Heritage Month
Sept. 15 – Oct. 15
In 2024, our community joined us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by reading “Borrowed Stories” by Children’s Health, downloading 98 “Historias Prestadas” books about our brave patients. Borrowed stories is available in English and Spanish and as an audiobook or e-book.
Boo Yard Sign Challenge
October 2024
The spooktacular Boo Yard Sign Challenge takes simple neighborhood trickery to a community fundraiser. In 2024, over 2,200 boo signs were placed in yards throughout the community, and the challenge raised over $60,000 in support of important programs and services at Children’s Health.
Swing Fore Miracles

Swing Fore Miracles Presented by Neighborhood Credit Union is Children's Medical Center Foundation's signature Play Yellow event. This corporate-focused tournament at Topgolf allows participants to network with other Children’s Health supporters. Last year, more than 200 participants competed on 32 teams and some healthy competition helped us raise nearly $200,000 to support the expansion of Children’s Medical Center Plano.
NorthPark Santa Visits

NorthPark Center’s Santa brought joy to more than 4,040 families in the community last holiday season. This cheery Santa also brightened the hallways with holiday cheer at Children’s Health for hundreds of patients who spent the season at the hospital with personal visits and Storytime with Santa at Seacrest Studios.
Breakfast with Santa Spectacular

The cherished annual Breakfast with Santa Spectacular hosted by the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center Dallas welcomed guests at NorthPark Center. Holiday festivities included photos with the beloved NorthPark Santa, holiday performances, face painting, balloon artists, special character appearances and live reindeer.

The Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center Plano invited families and friends to gather at the Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano for holiday cheer and to raise funds for Children’s Health patients and families. The event included photos with Santa, special characters, holiday crafts and tractor rides.
